The best bang for your buck. Must have if you're on GMRS
I love these little baddies, they're radio amateurs, you can program them for 70cm band, 2m band and with script mod (config.ini) 1.25 meter range. I use KD-C1 programming software with Wouxun USB programming cable (PCO-001), no reading and writing errors. Please note that the CHIRP software is USELESS! I just programmed them to make the FRS work great. I programmed it for GMRS, works great. I programmed it on MURS, it works great. I even programmed them to my operating frequencies from 452.XXX to 457.XXX.
