As described these casters attach to the legs of my Neewer C-stand to convert it into a mobile C-stand. The casters slide over the ends of the C-pillar legs and you turn the knob to lock them to the legs. The landing is safe. The wheels appear to be polyurethane and have very low rolling resistance. The brakes work well, but you really have to use the brakes on all three wheels to keep the stand from moving. On the other hand, they add at least 4 inches to the height of the C-pillar, so I think the strut would be a little less stable when extended or with an off-center weight (like a light with a large softbox). . An alternative to adding casters is a wheelbase replacing the C-pillar legs, which I think has a lower center of gravity and is less likely to tip over.
