I would like to raise the clippers but I can't, the plastic liner is very flimsy / cheap plastic, two were broken when received. Clippers are surprisingly noisy, quite a bit of chatter for cordless machines. I wear my hair very short so it only takes a few minutes to cut, so I can't comment on the battery life, 'but' they don't really run out of the gate with a strong feeling of charging when cutting, although I always keep them charged. But do hair clippers do their job YES, would I buy again NO. I've only used the trimmers once and they seem fine so far.
