I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

Children like it at first because it was different and novel, but later they stopped paying attention to it. A good fit for those who prefer to take it easy. Doesn't need any particular attention. Every three weeks, I emptied the tank and replaced the filter. Obviously, the amount of fish in the tank will dictate how often the water needs to be changed.

Pros

The humidifier was incredibly portable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. In the winter, water once per week.

Cons

Plaque made of white plastic is notoriously difficult to remove from water. After a few months in the aquarium, the plastic backlight and the glass are both covered in lime from splashes due to the harsh water in the Hong Kong area. White on black is glaringly obvious. Pump failed after only a year and a half of service. Since the pump is soldered shut, the motor cannot be taken apart for servicing. If the fish in the aquarium die because they don't get enough oxygen from the waterfall, then that's it.
