I have had several pairs of New Balance shoes in my life and have not been disappointed. New Balance is a great athletic shoe brand. I'm a little conflicted about these particular models. Pros: - They feel great. They have an attached tongue that prevents your feet from slipping out of the shoe while walking, running, flexing the foot, etc. At least your feet are safe in these shoes. You look great. The color choices are conveniently placed and blend well with the overall design of the shoe. I personally have olive green and am definitely satisfied with it. Cons: - Not many cons but I would suggest going this one half a size down. I usually wear a men's size 11 and I might go for a 10.5 for a better fit. They seem to wear out a lot quicker than I remember New Balances usually do. I have a pair of New Balances from five years ago that I still wear today. Admittedly I don't wear them every day but I've worn them quite a bit and I'm still surprised they still hold up. I have had this model for exactly two weeks now, I wear it every day. Now the stitching on the top of the shoe is unraveling, the sole on the heel of one of the shoes is starting to peel off, and the tread is wearing out faster than any other pair of shoes I've owned. In fact, I had to glue the sole back to the boot because it had come off so badly at the bottom. The price of these shoes is just ridiculous. At least for me. How worn down these shoes are in such a short amount of time I can't say they are worth the $100 retail price. I bought them on sale for $50 which is way more expensive than them. My complaints aside, these shoes are pretty good. I'm glad I only paid $50 for it. I don't think these shoes will last longer than the summer. Which is a shame because I would wear them for years if they lasted.
