You are not working! on Portable Audio & Video

Most people want to know how these Luitons compare to Nagoyas. Just like you, that's why you're here. You want to know if these Luiton antennas are a bargain or a flop, right? There's nothing wrong. I live next door to a Revain store so if something doesn't work it all comes back. So, five of these for twenty bucks (7/2021) sounds too good to be true, right? from TidRadio and Baofeng UV-H7 so I know which antennas work and which antennas work with neither. Recently I was listening to a few people talking about an issue with Windows XP. Yes, 2021. So I was curious. And since I do not yet have an FCC license to use FREE Radio, I have not been able to step in and offer assistance in a situation where I most likely could help. (I was a huge XP fan. How else could I play QUAKE, ROGUE SQUADRON, and HALF LIFE?) But reception wasn't great, so I replaced the stock rubber ducky antenna with a Luiton in hopes of getting a better connection . And then I heard it. Nothing! Even static. It's like someone turned off the sound. What kind of.? Did these guys finish their conversation in twenty seconds? So I replaced the Luiton with my standard antenna and they are back! Take another Luiton, try again and be silent. So I tested my squelch and nothing I tried brought the person back. So I unscrewed the Luiton and replaced it with my standard antenna and my friends are back! The Luitons did nothing. I didn't have Nagoya to check, so I just kept eavesdropping on the conversation. I think my abbree antennas would be better but I need to do some more research. Only time can tell. If your results match, please post them here. I wish Revain would allow me to comment on reviews because I don't know what else to do. Those longer antennas should have made my reception better, not worse. And I'm curious to know why they're skyrocketing in price. If those antennas were working, my range should have increased. But that didn't happen. Be warned.
