The 2m reception is worse than the standard rubber antenna that comes with Baofeng. Don't buy junk. Unfortunately I checked them out after the return deadline.

Great value for 4 NA-771 for $23. Very happy! All four analyzed very well throughout with very low SWR right in the 2M and 70cm bands. I hate to say this but their numbers were better than in Nagoya. Would definitely buy again.

Smooth installation, good solid connection. Definitely increased signal range; At 2 miles in a mixed urban cycle we got syllables dropped/truncated allowing us to go much further (another 1000 yards or so) with a clear connection. Has little effect at close range. Excellent kit.

I connected them to my Baofeng UV-5R radios to increase the range. They did the opposite and significantly reduced my range. The test was conducted on FRS channel 462.5625 between my 3rd floor apartment and the car. While I was able to get a little over 1 mile with the antennas that came with the radios, the new antennas started wobbling after about a half mile. Four pack with SMA female antenna on radio, including 4 standoffs/spacers. With the radio on the belt, the tip of the antenna reaches almost to the chin, but is flexible and rounded for safety.
