The case holds my new 4th gen iPad Air well except the 1/4 inch strips are too close to the volume buttons making them difficult to use . Also, there is only ONE "fluttering" velcro without a second velcro on the back that would better hold the case in place. Instead, it's loose and uncomfortable. It feels solid overall and I like the top insert for holding paper or cards. I don't have an Apple Pencil yet, so we'll see later.
