I really like the feel of this jacket - front is super heavy to protect against sparks . This is exactly what I was looking for , I have the basic cloth welding jackets they are ok . This jacket is top of the list for comfort , protection , must easier to snap on with a bonus of two velcro closures for a quick welding job, to hold jacket closed . No experience with summertime use , but I would say the cloth back will make it much cooler than a full leather jacket . Shipping is quick - had small issue that was addressed - no complains .

- The jacket does not have a reflective material, making it difficult to see in low light conditions
