I bought a Homedics humidifier to replace one that has stopped working and I was MOST disappointed when I found out it had it also no more <sigh> So far I am very satisfied with Homedics. It's so quiet - I was amazed! Every other humidifier I've ever had made a little motor noise; this one hardly. I was surprised to see "steam" (not steam as it's cold) coming out of the hole, but the floor isn't wet so that's not a complaint. I'm also surprised that the filter is such a small thing. You jump into the tank. I wonder how well it actually *filters* the water. I also bought an Aqua Stick on the recommendation of another customer to keep the pool clean. Until now, cleaning has not been "production”.
