Well I've come to the conclusion that you can't compare natural products with non-natural ones. Dry aerosol shampoo makes my asthma worse, so I was destined to try to let the powder work and only use the aerosol at desperate times. If I hadn't been forced to actually work with this powder I never would have found a better way to use it. And I would think that it doesn't work well. First I apply a little bit to the crown, then I take a flat brush and spread it over the top layer of hair. I then flip my hair and spray it right where my hair meets the nape of my neck, then brush it out so it hits the part of my hair that's closer to my ears. Sometimes I'll pour a little straight into the center and rub in if it's very oily, but usually I don't. Then I install as usual. While it doesn't give the same volume as an aerosol, I am very happy with this product which requires more exercise than a dry aerosol shampoo. One of the best non-aerosol dry shampoos on the market and you can't beat the price. Once you get used to it, you'll feel a lot better than having all those chemicals sprayed around your head.
