I wanted a bit but over $60 in stores was too much and those sold on Amazon tend to be Chinese fakes . I have a claw hammer and it holds up great so I figured why not buy this channel hammer. I have not regretted my purchase at all. So far it has withstood the harsh conditions I work in. If I had to give pros and cons that are negligible at best, it would be its weight. On the other hand, at 18oz it sometimes takes a little more hesitation to get things done (bend rims, demo work, etc.). On the plus side, your tool bag or bucket is lighter and won't wear out your hips or back from carrying it around all week. I wouldn't even say it was a problem to be honest, just thought I'd share it with my fellow plumbers.
