Optimum (NR2010Q) No Rinse, Wash & Shine - 32 oz. I recently started a cleaning business and added this small number to my cleaning arsenal. Hype is a word I've been thinking about the whole time since I've never used "steam" to clean. These have always been strong chemical cleaning agents commonly used to get the job done. Much work has been done with caustic (and possibly toxic) materials. So I bought this on offer from Revain; it was "used" at least once. These small boilers calcify quickly and this used one showed this in the water inlet area. I only use distilled water (no minerals for scaling!) with Optimum No Rinse at a 256:1 dilution for the tank. (This dilution is 1/2 ounce per gallon of water). ONR helps break down limescale and actually improves the cleaning power of the steam. The limescale is gone and it flies like a steam engine! The effectiveness of this cleaning mode (I hate using that adjective) is amazing! ONR is a natural product with no chemicals, so it only improves results and my overall health. It also leaves no residue, making it ideal for anyone experiencing allergic reactions. I've been using it regularly for the past 3 months and have had great success removing all types of dirt and dried grime from the interior of many cars, SUVs and trucks! Carpets, seats, dashboards, door frames, everything has been cleaned, with the right precautions of course! (see all tutorials on youtube) * I've added before and after photos of my final interior detail: hand cream, sweat and body oils have accumulated on the steering wheel over the years. The steam generator liquified everything and I wiped everything away without using a single hazardous chemical. * This turned out to be the best value for money in my detailing toolbox. **Remember that if you use a microfiber cloth over one of the extension heads, the steam will destroy the microfiber's ability to reject heat!) So only use the special MF steaming and mopping kit. I highly recommend using microfiber from The Rag Company - they are the best and that says it all! If you haven't steam cleaned (and a dose of OHP) you'll be as surprised, delighted and satisfied as I am. the results you get from this machine!
