Review on ๐Ÿฆถ Ankle Support Drop Brace Orthosis: Comprehensive Protection for Weak Ankles by Ronny Goodman

They work! on leg and foot rests

I have CIPD, both legs are almost paralyzed so I need arch supports. The crappy plastic braces my doctor gave me make walking *painful* and cause ulcers that make even sitting uncomfortable. I wish I had tried them sooner! These braces are great, comfortable and effective. My biggest concern is the velcro that attaches the cord to the suspenders. It pops up if your foot moves too much, so I'm going to replace it with either industrial Velcro or a button or button closure. When trying to do physical therapy, the Velcro suddenly coming loose is dangerous, you may trip, fall and break a bone. I want the designers to think about it, but I doubt they have an oversight themselves. We need safety and comfort. There weren't any color options either, so you can't customize your shoes. I wish they were a little thinner at the ankle, I like to camouflage my disability as much as possible and my tight workout clothes show more padding than I would like. On the plus side, I don't need oversized shoes to wear braces, and it helps brain muscle fusion because your foot isn't encased in restrictive plastic. I can still wear my cute sneakers from before I got sick. I am so thankful and happy that I decided to try them. I waited thinking they weren't lifting the toe enough to be effective, but I was very wrong. I don't think beggars can choose when you're disabled. We just take what they give us and should be thankful I think. If I were you I would buy them and modify them as I suggested as the comfort makes them more than worthy of a little velcro.
