Review on Cuisinart Two-to-Go TTG-500 Coffeemaker by Andrea Turnon

Step Back Cuisinart

I've been using the Cuisinart TTG-500 Two-to-Go for years. I was so pleased with the performance that I bought a new one to replace it. However, the new replacement now has a different type of switch that is difficult to turn on. Once it is on, it cannot be turned off with the switch until it has completed the full cycle and turned off. Even if you unplug the device, the switch will not return to the off position. When the machine comes back online, it's on instead of off, even if it takes days, maybe weeks, or even years later. Also, my old model could reset and make more coffee right after auto shut off. A new machine can only be used again after it has cooled down for a long time. The machine can only be switched on after this cooling time has elapsed. And that time is unknown. In my experience it can take several hours. Those annoying annoyances aside, the new version makes a delightful cup of coffee just like the original.
