I recently lost my keys downtown and had to call a locksmith to get my bike rid of this thing. It took him a few minutes (3-6 at least? idk, I'm very tired) and a few blades on his angle grinder to get through and he seemed quite annoyed and excited about the whole thing. So of course I bought a new one. The old one was used on my commuter e-bike in a big city for 4 years and never resulted in a theft. I've had my accessories stolen a couple of times, but there's no sign of anyone even trying to get through the lock - that must be a pretty good psychological deterrent. I will say that I had to oil the keyhole a couple of times when it stopped turning. , my key broke once (fortunately without damaging the lock), and several times during the winter I found that moisture had frozen in the keyhole, making it very difficult to insert the key - note if you live somewhere colder than in Oregon.
