Review on Vifa Reykjavik Bluetooth Speaker - Portable Mini Outdoor Wireless Speaker, Enhanced Stereo Sound, Nordic Design, Built-in Mic for Hands-Free Calls - Lava Black, Ideal Personal Speaker by Jay Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great speaker for close listening.

I bought Reykjavik during Black Friday and after hearing it I immediately did the firmware update. The difference in sound quality between night and day, low frequencies have been greatly improved without sacrificing detail or overall loudness. As with all Vifa products, the processing quality is first class. I mainly use this speaker to watch movies and TV shows while lying on my bed and thanks to the omnidirectional sound I don't have to worry about moving it for the perfect listening angle. . I have enough battery for 6-8 hours at 70% volume, which is several days of use. It charges fairly quickly at 2A with the included cable and what I like best about the ring gauge is that it compares to my Vifa Helsinki which is having a hard time figuring out how much juice it has left even when Battery level indicator is used. Some people have reported that the volume buttons are hard to press, never had this problem with mine, after some use you will get used to the raised/recessed volume controls. Listening on the street is not such a pleasant experience. Sound is lost and even at maximum volume, it seems tiny and weak even at a listening distance of 10 feet. Still, 5 stars for its intended use: high-quality indoor sound signature, multi-directional close-range listening. If you need a waterproof outdoor speaker, just buy the JBL flip4 or charge 3 instead.
