I've had this backpack for about a month now and have already run 100 miles in it. Personally, I like being able to carry quite a bit while running as I travel the US all the time and never know where my running will take me. I have a lot of experience with hydration packs and systems. I see pros and cons here. Pros: รธ Adjusts to multiple sizes, I'm 5ft 8in, 145lbs and the Sml/Med size is perfect (I ordered men's because I wanted black) รธ Keeps the backpack close to the body and all my gear with me minimal impact front pockets, I love the front pockets for my phone, glasses and pepper spray, I can carry my iphone xr in one of the top stretch pockets and my glasses (with in the other). Side zip pocket is great for ID/card/cash. รธ Side pulls on front pocket, it has cords, one with a safety whistle, on the large front pockets I removed the whistle and was able to add a small bungee cord to create a pull for my pepper spray, IOT quick access to it if ever รธ Back short pocket with mesh pockets inside, ideal for carrying a small first aid kit and my emergency blanket (I've also finished many races in the cold when and my core temperature drops, now I always have an emergency blanket handy) become items in seconds stored and prevent them from bouncing when running. รธ Magnetic tube flap mount, glad one was included so I didn't have to buy it separately (nice but not necessary) รธ Large back pocket fits easily in a jacket when winter comes Cons: รธ No harness mounts! I know I'm not the only one who can't stand loose straps, whether it's running or hiking, flapping straps always make me so miserable. Osprey never stores their products with webbing holders and I can't understand why. I highly recommend that you purchase or craft several for this bundle. Mainly because the lower compression straps rub against your arms when you run and cause abrasions on your arms. รธ The water bubble started flowing within a month. The bladder is leaking from the bottom seam, I have contacted Osprey and they sent a replacement bladder but that is an issue I don't want to deal with, luckily I have replacement bladders that work in this package as well. Keep this in mind if you're not like me and have 10 other hydration packs. รธ No hose insulation, I also think it's a must, if you don't insulate the drinking hose, the sun quickly heats up the water in the hose, giving you a nice refreshing sip of hot water. Pipe insulation sold separately. This is another detail Osprey shouldn't overlook. รธ safety whistle sucks. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this pack.
