As one of the many people in a long distance relationship, I had to pull the trigger. Good quality cotton, but the number of threads is not very large. I usually use 500 thread count cotton duvet sets, but as soon as I replaced one of my pillowcases with this one, I immediately noticed a difference in quality. However, the quality is much better than I originally expected. The fabric is a combination of polyester and cotton. The fabric is a little rougher, but soft enough. The pillowcase also has a flap at the end to cover the pillow 100% which I really like. Perfect fit for my Tempurpedic queen size pillow. Overall I would buy again for the price. This is a really cool idea, especially if you spend most of your time away from your significant other. I only wish Boldloft would have made the same product at a higher price point and with better materials. I mean, if we can afford plane tickets to see each other, I'm sure some of us will be willing to pay more for pillowcases and sheets with more yarn.
