I have two 27 inch monitors installed. The stand is very solid and supports the monitors well in different positions (angles). I like the flat base. The only criticism is that the hinge that allows you to rotate the vertical angle of the monitors is not tightened enough (trust me, I've tried) and the monitors rotate slowly and face down due to their own weight . I tried to solve the problem by taking the hinge apart and adding rubber rings where the core (shank) of the hinge meets the "teeth" that the clamp screw goes through. This was very difficult to achieve and in the end it seemed to work on one side but after all these difficulties it didn't work with the second joint and I ended up putting a piece of wood on the back of the joint housing on the monitor, so it doesn't roll down.
