The stand itself is solid, the base looks good, but the tilting mechanism is weak. I have 12 lb monitors, they are well under the advertised weight limit of 26 lbs. However, I could not get them to stay in place at the correct incline. I tightened the screws but the stand still barely held the monitor. When my daughter came and tapped the screen it tilted down, I had to ask her several times not to touch the monitor because I had to reset it each time. I would even accidentally trip over it and

For the price it does the job we should do

I have two 27 inch monitors installed. The stand is very solid and supports the monitors well in different positions (angles). I like the flat base. The only criticism is that the hinge that allows you to rotate the vertical angle of the monitors is not tightened enough (trust me, I've tried) and the monitors rotate slowly and face down due to their own weight . I tried to solve the problem by taking the hinge apart and adding rubber rings where the core (shank) of the hinge meets the "teeth"…

Well designed, beautiful design. I like it.

I have two monitors and used tons of paper to lift non-identical monitors. This article has really changed how I use my space in my home office. It lifts the monitors off the table and frees up this space. I can also balance the monitors and set them up so that one is taller than the other. It is well designed and well thought out to build. Assembly is a little tricky if you don't have someone to help you with a few steps, but doable. One thing I would change is the lag screw on the center post

Sturdy and Stable Dual Monitor Stand

This monitor stand is much stronger and more stable than I expected. I was afraid it would be cheap for such a price but no. The only problem I had was a small metal burr on top of the center shaft caught on the plastic insert when I tried to slide the cross member assembly down. He ripped some plastic off the liner before I knew what was stopping him. I used a nail file to smooth the burr and the cross member assembly slides in easily. Other reviewers noted that these parts are heavy, and they

Affordable stand with more features than comparable models

So a great stand for the price to start with. If you need a stand instead of a mount, this is a good choice. I have an antique desk that is almost incompatible with monitor mounts. So a free-standing tripod mount was my only option. Peculiarities of the stand: - Each bracket has vertical fine adjustment (by turning a hex key). Great if you have OCD where your monitors are perfectly aligned. - It supports large and heavy monitors. I have two Dell S3221QS 32" curved monitors on my stand (1800R…
