Well I already have two of these, the first one was bought in the mid 90's (I paid about $125 through the salon at the time) and it still works! Bought a second one for a second home a few years later and it's still holding up! If you need a third for another residence (too hassle to lug it around), this last one is still as good quality as the old ones, which isn't always the case, and yet the price is significantly lower. Feel free to buy! PS The stylist told me to clean the back screen quite often and it will last forever. This definitely worked for me.
