Review on Fresh Running: New Balance Beacon – Unleash Your Speed by Johnathan Hegie

I seem to be the only one who noticed. I bought the original Beacons and they literally became my favorite shoe. So of course I bought 2 pairs of V2. One pair had a different fit on the outside of my toes (my toes continued to rest on the edge despite being wide, which I didn't have an issue with the V1). Then a second pair of the same model but in a different color (navy blue) has a very noticeable difference in padding than the first pair I bought - it's much stiffer; however, the width is large (unlike the other pair) There are serious discrepancies in the quality of the shoes, how is that possible? The two v2s I have seem to be literally different models - one has way more cushioning than the other! I am completely confused. I will contact NB to see what they have to say.
