Nice leather, good size. The strap appeared to be an afterthought - didn't feel like the leather quality of the strap matched the quality of the bag itself - no substance. Also, I miss the outside pocket a lot, especially with such a big bag. It's nice to have that flat outer pocket for your keys and phone instead of reaching in to get to the inner pockets or digging through the bottom of a large/deep bag, especially given the DARK BROWN inside. I decided to return - in this price range you need a solid strap and either an outside pocket or a light beige interior. Okay I just changed this rating from 3 to 5 stars - I only returned it to buy it back and buy it in slate color. This bag haunted me after the return so had no choice but to buy it again :)
