I haven't slept this well in years

My sleep was terrible. I would either wake up in the middle of the night and stay awake for several hours before falling asleep again, or I would sleep until 3:30-4am and not fall asleep again. On one of those nights, I turned on the TV. There was a commercial for weighted blankets; He said it helps you sleep. Later that day I studied them and then asked if friends and family used them; They thought the blankets would help. I decided to buy it based on the positive feedback I received. I searched Revain based on the comments I received. Some said they like it but they are too hot. I found this; Reversible lid for temperature preference, removable lid for cleaning (a must for me). Since using it I have slept through some nights which has never happened before. Other nights I still wake up around 3-4am but fall right back asleep. I sleep until the alarm goes off, and on weekends when the alarm doesn't go off, I sleep a little longer. There was no addiction, from the first night I started sleeping better! It doesn't feel too heavy, it feels really comfortable. It keeps me warm but not too hot. I live in an area of the country with winter temperatures; I put the silk side down, the fleece side up and I get warm; No other blanket or blanket is used when sleeping, just a sheet under the blanket. The only downside is that the cover is attached to the quilt after washing. It's not a terrible process, it just takes a little time. I'm sure it will get better the more I do it. Several friends have bought it after I told them how well I sleep now; they haven't arrived yet, otherwise I would include their thoughts. I think it should be called a magic blanket!
