I like having a metal mesh band for my Fitbit and the previous one I had (for my Alta) worked fine. However, there are two issues that would prevent me from buying it again. First, the magnetic clasp on my Big sits right on the inside of my wrist. So when I type on my computer, it "sticks" to the lid of the laptop. It's annoying. And it sticks to the fridge door when I open it, my knife when I eat, and other metal objects that end up under my wrist during the day. I can handle it. Second, the edges of the mesh tend to catch on the fabric. So my shirts, pocket, sheets, towels, etc. You name it, it seems to be catching on. The problem is only compounded when you become addicted, because not only are you creating traction in what you're addicted to, but you're also tugging at the mesh strap, opening up the mesh to create a larger hook to hook onto the next article of clothing to grab. In the picture you can see how the net forms the perfect hook for grabbing clothes. My previous mesh strap didn't have this issue so I'll have to look for another one.
