This is not a good phone. If it was connected within 2 days I'm returning it now. Day 1: Reception was terrible, worse than the 10 year old cordless phone I bought as a replacement. The Bluetooth connection to a cell phone is from the base station, not the handsets, so you need to keep your cell phone close to the base station if you want it to work. The Bluetooth itself doesn't work well, poorly thought out. For example: After some difficulty I finally managed to connect my cellphone to the cordless phone during a call, but when I pressed the speakerphone button so I could hang up the phone and hear my call through the phone's speaker, it turned off The cell phone. called and gave me a dial tone from my landline. Why? Day 2: The base station and handsets report that the home line is in use. Why? I do not know. He won't switch off. Tried disconnecting from both landline phone and network - to no avail. I tried connecting an old wired tube I have and it works fine. So, yes, it's junk and it's coming back. My last cordless phone was a Panasonic which worked fine for 10 years. I am considering trying another.
