Review on Enhance Your Communication Experience with the Plantronics Savi W710 DECT Headset by Eric Weber

I love plantronics and before that there were wired headsets. Has worked great for many years. And I decided to go wireless. The idea of DECT at a distance is great and actually works well in our large offices. The main problem I have is that it keeps disconnecting from my Cisco IP phone. I use it with this original cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007IUBNRY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 and during a call it just disconnects and you have to manually press the phone button on top to reconnect. So you lose a few seconds of conversation and don't dare to leave the station as this happens about every 2 minutes, making the wireless function pretty much useless. Overall ease of use - switching between 3 sources is a pain to deal with and I keep hanging up on a regular basis (even after 3 months!) when people accidentally call me. Especially during the Bluetooth connection of a mobile phone. I tried to find a firmware update but couldn't. All in all I have a very expensive wireless headset that I no longer use and am going back to a cable connected to my phone which just works :(
