I bought this unit a while ago and had no idea it was not working properly until I ran out of disk space very quickly. Windows didn't recognize him. However, the bios worked, so I called WD and explained my problem to them. They then told me that I had indeed bought a used one and since I bought it through Amazon there was nothing they could do. I've heard it's a great product, but I strongly recommend not buying PC products through Amazon.
