I decided to use this foam windscreen instead of a pop screen for my Blue Yeti Whiteout Edition and I can confidently say it sounds great! Blue Yeti owners know how sensitive the microphone is, and this helps reduce background noise and "t" and "p" pops. As I don't have a pop filter I can't compare it to it but my records sound good enough that I don't feel the need to buy one. I've had it for a few months now and it's still tight. If you look closely at my photo, you'll probably see dried saliva and cat fur. Since you cover the microphone, it will be protected from you and the cats. This will probably last as long as my Blue Yeti and is a great way to improve your records.
