I bought the Blue Yeti mic a few weeks ago but noticed that it picked up a lot of background noise and had issues with it "explosive" sounds. I'm new to audio so I didn't realize how bad they could be without a windshield. Received this windscreen in hopes of reducing background noise like the faint hum coming from the air conditioner vent in my room when I'm playing a voice Over record microphone Blue Yeti. I also wanted to reduce the impact of my breathing when speaking. I used to have a pop screen for my Blue Yeti mic but it really didn't work well and the mic still picked up a significant amount of background noise. Fits great on my Blue Yeti Pro. Simply slipped in and tight-fitting. Great product in every way. Would give it 5 stars but mine has a half inch stain that looks like it's melted a little. I just bought a new Yeti mic and while it's great, it picks up the sound SO PERFECTLY. So if I wasn't careful, it picked up every bit of background noise, namely the noise from my fans in the room. I decided to use this foam windscreen instead of a pop screen for my Blue Yeti Whiteout Edition and I can confidently say it sounds great! Blue Yeti owners know how sensitive the microphone is, and this helps reduce background noise and "t" and "p" pops.
