I bought this to reduce the heat generated by my Dell laptop (I work from home for about 4 hours at a time). I was looking for one without all the lights. There's blue light, but it's not intrusive. This works better than I expected. This allows you to mount it at different angles and I did find it crashed once, but it may have been my fault - I may have installed it incorrectly. There was no damage. It's a fairly lightweight product but for the price I think it's a good deal and will hopefully get the job done for me.
