Businesses use Matterport to help them discover and understand their assets, employees, facilities and operations - saving money, time and energy while making better decisions. Matterport’s software is fast, reliable and scalable so customers can take advantage of it without worrying about the cost, maintenance or complexity of running their own 3D platform. They have a great UI/UX, the support team are friendly and knowledgeable and they don't mind sharing best practices. We were trying to reach out to new clients, they had a bad experience with another provider and they're pretty upfront about the fact that their platform isn't perfect. They're quite helpful and get back to you quickly when you email them.
- Has good documentation, a good way of explaining things and being able to explain the technology they have created
- They provide training videos and tutorials for people who need to learn how to work with this platform
- When uploading the models they sometimes add white lines at certain points, it's not clear why this happens.
- When doing cross sells or connecting to existing data sets it takes a long time to finish, it's not immediately obvious what you're doing.
