17 years after the operation I had to wear compression stockings on my arm. I tried company after company for products ranging from $60 to $250. Now that I'm retired I have to buy my own sleeves because Medicare won't cover the cost. I tried this particular sleeve and was blown away by the support and comfort. It's just the right amount of compression and stretching. I liked them so much I bought four pairs. If only they made mittens! I'm not saying you should ignore your medical equipment, just consider it an option. it's better than wearing nothing.
