I bought these bowls for ramen and they do the job and they are great for microwave and dishwasher use and they look very nice although it is melamine material. The only downside is this is misleading in the description, it says these are 32oz bowls but they are actually 16oz each so they are no bigger than a regular cereal bowl. You probably couldn't eat with full pho in them, but for me, who is small and doesn't eat much, they're great. I would add that the chopsticks broke the first time they were used simply by accidentally hitting the pan, they are by no means durable and the spoons don't stick well to the bowl. I would recommend the bowls, but I wouldn't pay extra for a set of spoons and chopsticks if I were to buy again.
