Diversity of forms: Handwork

The beauty and culture of Japan, which has its roots in China, has been transferred to art and creativity that existed thousands of years ago but also endure in the present. Paper origami is a wonderful way to express your creativity in a variety of shapes, sizes and creations. And what is the best way to fold and fold? Heavy paper, a stack of multi-colored plain paper, or waste paper for gift wrapping? Maybe, and most likely, but an origami paper crane or other animal or figure wouldn't be origami without special paper. Texture is important, and even more so when you're in an extremely expressive or creative mood, Tuttle produces a variety of patterns, from florals to abstract shapes to traditional Japanese. The size of the creation can also make a difference, and this pack of 48 is 8 1/4 inches tall. There is plenty of paper for fun and enjoyment.

Pros
  • Freehand work
Cons
  • Very expensive

Beautiful paper. I ended up buying one for myself and some for gifts.
