You know how it is- you buy something for your pet and they’d rather play with the packaging than use the item you got them. My cats did love the box this came in. Thankfully they love this pad as well. I got the leopard print in the large. I have two cats under 10lbs each. They can both lay on this comfortably but usually it’s just one. I purchased this because we live in a very drafty house in Michigan and I wanted to keep them warmer. It works well and they lay on it all the time.Only thing I don’t like is that the material is a little hard in spots…it’s probably the netting now that I’m thinking about it. The fabric is very soft but I might be feeling the netting peeking through when I rub it. It’s no big deal and the cats don’t care. I may purchase another of these to put in a different location.I can’t comment on whether or not this is easy to clean or chew proof. I don’t expect it will be hard to clean.
