Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

The keyboard is chic, the keys are covered with rubber material, the difference is felt after all the keyboards with plastic keys. The touchpad is not too hard to press, you can press it anywhere, you can really use it. The Apple Trackpad is certainly far away, but Dell is on the right track. Installed not the most successful Wi-Fi adapter. You can't connect to the AX network without fiddling with the settings. Perhaps this problem can be solved at the level of firmware or drivers, but so far only through settings and analysis. BIOS is cool, I like everything. After dozens of identical, stripped-down options, Dell was simply surprised, everything is customizable and manageable. You can set up battery charging rules. For those who don't want to fiddle around with the BIOS, there's a Dell Power Manager app in the Windows Store. There are also oddities: Dell auto OS Recovery loads its shell only over Ethernet, only then you can connect to Wi-Fi. If the cable is already unwound and connected, no one will remove it. ating BIOS firmware from Menu Boot is also only available via Ethernet. Especially for the paranoid, there is a curtain for the Web-camera. The power supply is quite compact, the wires are pleasant to the touch. Checked the operation of the laptop on several operating systems: Linux Debian 11 Linux openSUSE Tumbleweed Windows 11 Professional

Pros
  • Manufacturing materials Charge rate BIOS power unit Modern ports Modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Touchpad you can use
Cons
  • Complete Linux did not boot, disgrace. :)
