Heavy furniture will not eventually break through the riser and leave dents on the floor
I have purchased other risers that could not support the weight of a quality rollaway bed. They are internally reinforced so in the extremely unlikely event of plastic failure, the furniture leg will be raised to avoid damaging the floor. This riser is nothing to worry about and is well designed and constructed. They stack easily without sacrificing grip, and they give you a "rubber" foot for the riser base that's almost invisible, so it looks good while protecting floors from scratches. Excellent. I would buy them again if I wanted to raise my bed to the sky! rzunimag.
