In terms of fit and comfort, these shoes were just what my daughter needed for her small role in the school musical. But in the dress rehearsal of one of the shoes, the sole came off - it was her first time wearing shoes - and I had to hot glue it on. Then the sole of the second shoe came loose on the first step. Her dance choreography was extremely easy (middle school students, all inexperienced), and as a member of the choir, she went more from point A to point B as she danced, so we know the shoes did NOT fall apart due to heavy use. I'm happy to report that the hot glue holds up much better than the original production glue.
