I just found it funny that my dog washer broke my last one. And that's why I bought a second of these collars. She didn't break it by breaking, breaking, or damaging any part; it's too heavy for that. She broke it by - I mean strength - pushing the clasp back together. The plastic fastener is designed to connect the Möbius in the collar without twisting it. She was clearly feeling rushed or something. I never scolded her about it. It was a simple Revain replacement. But to this day, the old one will not fall apart. It's like someone put two pieces - and they're plastic pieces - together; they are really tough. I was just lucky that I could still put the old collar around my dog's head. It would be difficult for me to saw it off without hurting my dog. Did I mention it's a strong collar? It takes a little getting used to how repetitive it is, but once you get the hang of it, it actually makes a lot of sense. I'd recommend checking it out when you first get it before rushing to unbox it. My only real criticism of the product is the reflective part. These are just two white but thick threads sewn around the collar. It would be ideal if the entire collar was reflective, but I wouldn't count on that even if it were reflective, so no wasted stars. The collar can be covered with ears, a turned head, or long fur, so I bought my friend a reflective vest for night walks instead. I highly recommend this collar. Your leash (or dog) is more likely to break than this collar.
