Review on 🔧 Griot's Garage 10862 Complete Compound - 16oz by Christian Byrd

Purchased after seeing an evaluation from a professional auto repair shop and their recommendations on this polish and techniques. Application: A roommate was watering a tree in his living room (don't ask) and casually splashed water on the table behind him This Chinese carved table is antique and rare, with a lacquered finish. The resulting water stains were terrible, I thought it was a total loss. Other polishes removed some of the worst stains and blemishes, but that wasn't enough. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying these griots. Using a light RO/DA (Random Orbit, Double Action) machine with SOFT pads and lambswool all but one small stain was gone and all stains were gone. Gone, gone. The resulting Chinese red lacquer color is beautiful. I ended up using Staples Carnauba Furniture Wax. The family heirloom is saved. For a final desperate and complicated furniture makeover, a combination of Griot polishes and Staples wax is recommended.
