The back panel shattered as the phone slid gently off my lap, just 2.5 feet off the ground

I bought this case because it was advertised as having incredible protection for the back and screen. It was also greatly appreciated. My very expensive phone stayed with me for less than two weeks before it slipped off my lap and broke. Even with my insurance my deductible is hundreds of dollars and they can't replace the back of the phone, I have to get a brand new phone. I am very disappointed and angry.
