Addendum: The stick failed after only 15 hours of use. Rating to 2 stars. SOME REASON FOR THE 2 STARS IS THE LACK OF A CLEAR WARRANTY REPAIR INSTRUCTION AND A WEBSITE THAT WILL ALWAYS REACH YOU EXCEPT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE FOR WARRANTY HELP. It literally took me hours to find a phone number to call the warranty department. The website seems to take you everywhere for troubleshooting and what not, however, it never seems to take you to the right link to get a warranty or ask for help. I understand that many "problems" can be easily fixed if proper procedures are followed. For the rest of us who have a hardware issue such as B. a button that doesn't work, it's damn hard to find the right link. I finally found someone who can help and I was told I will receive an email soon, next day, in 2 or 3 days? A few days later, after a long search, I called again and was told that the person in charge of my case was out of the office. I don't know what that means, but I didn't get the help I needed. I was again told that I would receive an email shortly and then I could proceed with the warranty issue. From my perspective, the hardware warranty doesn't expire until I get help. I'll update this as things develop, so please stay tuned. While the design, feel, and initial use of the flight control system were very positive, the buttons began to fail after a short time. So far, neither the pinkie button on the joystick nor the clutch button on the throttle have failed. Not on the same day, but very close together. I'm a senior flight sim enthusiast (read ALT) with limited income and resources to pursue the type of flight sim I like, which is Microsoft Flight Sim XI. I'm also involved with the recently revamped IL2, which has a cult following and a very dedicated group of programmers. As I said, the latest Saitek X52 system lasted me 10 years and after many hours of use and long flight times it started to wear out. Which was not wanted but expected. At my age there aren't many PC games I could play with any experience and I'm not very good at FP shooters or any other shooter. Microsoft Flight Sim is my favorite sim with the rather shallow learning curve required to become proficient enough to handle most of what the sim has to offer. The stick itself has good response and equally great programming software which is great to have. I just want to warn anyone about getting an extended warranty which I didn't have enough money for at the time so it will take a lot of time to fix this issue. I hope everything works out. yeah
