When I first received this package, I noticed the size of the container. My first photo shows a container next to a 2 liter soda bottle. It doesn't fit on the shelf in my closet where all the other mixes are kept. Once opened, the container is significantly oversized - by my estimation, the mixture occupies no more than 60% of the container. I understand it's sold by weight not volume, but that's overkill and extra packaging. I find it difficult to understand solid packaging. As a vegan and diabetic, the ratio of carbohydrates and proteins is very important to me. Of course, that's not the best ratio, but it's a very good one: 5 grams of carbohydrates for 20 grams of protein. It has no added sugars but does contain the artificial sweetener sucralose, which some people avoid. The taste is exceptional for something without sugar. I mixed this with regular soy milk in a beverage blender. I was surprised that it wasn't very grainy - much less than any other powder I've used lately - and the flavor was impressive. Rich chocolate, not sweet but very chocolaty. Even though it's just been mixed with soy milk, it feels thick, which I think is more due to the flavor than the texture. I did not experience any aftertaste or chalkiness in the mouth after drinking this blend. , both of which I have tested with other vegan powders. I look forward to seeing what other flavors this company offers and hoping they find the right sized containers for my kitchen and the environment. I really appreciate the "be awesome" label on the box.
