Used it at 3000 psi and suddenly the plastic lens started to buckle and glycerin started to leak. Shortly thereafter the pressure relief plug exploded and the glycerine was scattered everywhere. - fortunately not in my direction (I was wearing glasses at the time). It was less than a year old and hardly used. Just because it's rated for 5,000 psi doesn't mean it can work. It fails catastrophically at much lower pressures.
