Review on 🦌 Browning Trapper Creek Hunting Vest by Faliere Jorge

Designed to scratch stock

Must have been designed by someone who doesn't shoot. I replaced a 25 year old Bob Allen vest with this one. I like the zipper on this one. It's easier to hit than the old BA. The fit is correct - I ordered a large and it fits like a large. The pockets are large and comfortable, and it's lightweight, which is great for hot weather. However, the jacket has two main problems. Butt plate pocket too low (or Browning butt plate too small). When you mount the gun, the top third of the butt plate does not touch the pad. The other thing and the worst as far as I know is how the shell bags are made. Each large shell bag has a metal clasp in the top corner closest to the hip. You cannot use the bag without detaching the button. In this case, the metal latch is the perfect place to scratch the stock.
