🦌 Browning Trapper Creek Hunting Vest Review

Excellent vest. Well constructed. Looks great. Lots of pockets and pockets. It also has an inside pocket for a Browning gel pad. BUT they are oversized. I usually wear 2XL but wanted freedom of movement in hot climates and accidentally ordered 3XL. It's too big for me (I'm 6ft 6in, 250lbs). Believe me, I have enough exercise! If you want to wear a larger size jacket or shirt underneath, order one size up. light shirt - order your normal size.

Very decent shooting vest. Perfect. I wore it over a light jacket. The gel pouch would have been nice if it was a bit bigger, but it wasn't a great trap for 12 gauge shooting. I recommend 2 packs of 12 gauge gel. Also, there is nothing to hold inside the gel pack, so if you turn the vest upside down (e.g. if you take it off or throw away the container) it will fall out. So far I'm very happy with this vest. I've only used it 3 times so far, but it's really good. The only criticism is that the zipper seems a bit cheap. It feels like I have to take care of it to avoid accidentally damaging it. I would have preferred this product to have a very strong zipper. I ordered the gel shoulder pad and it's nice too. I decided to wait a few weeks to really try the vest before writing a review. Well I've used it 5 times and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. So many pockets with large openings for easy access. I like the back pocket for spent cartridges.
