I bought these shorts for my 15 year old daughter who needed her for the lifeguards this summer. They work great for them and are good value for money. They are a little lighter shade of red than I was expecting (I thought they were darker) so they look a little sun bleached which is normal, they are still very cute. The elastic waistband on the back is not typical for board shorts but works great as my daughter has a small waist and large hips/thighs. We bought a very small one and they're still very roomy and comfortable on them, so they're great for sitting at the lifeguards' stand all day!
