We live in the desert, without air conditioning. Summer can be cruel. I am also in perimenopause and struggle with night sweats. I bought one of these for each of my next of kin and we are all very happy with them. I don't know what I would actually call it cooling. Still, they're great for sleeping in the summer heat as they're light but not too light, have enough weight to be comfortable without being heavy, and being made from bamboo, they're very breathable. We were very pleasantly surprised at how soft these comforters are! My husband is very very picky about his blankets and he loves it! As mentioned, I don't know if they really keep us cool at night, but they don't add to our warmth and are quite comfortable in the sweltering summer heat. I definitely recommend it!
